Wallingford to Reading Service

(Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 29th May to 18th September 2010)

Subject to weather and boat availability, please check with the Oxford office on (01865) 243421 before making a special journey.

Salters have been operating from Wallingford since 1888 and this service is the longest of our scheduled cruises (15 miles of glorious Thames scenery). Highlights of the cruise include a number of famous waterside restaurants (including the Beetle and Wedge at Moulsford and the Swan at Streatley), striking private housing at both Pangbourne and Caversham as well as the popular tourist attractions of Beale Wildlife park and the splendid Mapledurham House (with 15th century mill).
