Punting in Oxford and Boat Hire in Oxford
(From Oxford only - Open from Easter to October according to weather)
For those who wish to have a more hands-on experience, we also offer a wide variety of self-drive craft for hire from Oxford. Why not try your hand at punting? This remains one of the most enjoyable summer activities and a quintessential pastime for Oxonians. Alternatively we also hire out rowing boats as well as electric motor boats and diesel day boats for those who wish to expend less energy.

All boats are hired on a first-come first-serve basis. An advance booking service is available on all of our day boats (these must be pre paid for). Self-powered craft (such as punts) can be pre-ordered but only if more than one is required. The timings of advanced booking can not be changed once they are reserved. Our standard prices shown above will apply for the full duration of the season. You can rest assured that we will not hike up our prices during periods of high demand or particularly good weather. Equally prices will not be cut, or refunds issued when the weather is less favourable. Children are welcome on any of the self-drive craft and life jackets are available for those who wish to have them. A refundable security deposit of £50.00 is required for all un powered craft and £100.00 for all powered craft. Photo identification should also be brought. All boats that pre-booked are reserved strictly for the times arranged and customers are recommended to arrive 10 minutes before the departure time (to fill in the appropriate paper work). We will not be able to extend the time of hire for those who arrive late (full terms and conditions available from the Oxford office).
