Boat Sales

The concept of the Deltic arose from a desire to provide a spacious electric weekender, with the emphasis upon
the large open cockpit area; ideal for both cruising and entertaining. The boat combines contemporary styling with
a hull form that provides minimum wake as well as handling characteristics that will delight the most experienced
boatman. There is room enough for the boat to sleep two (and occasionally four). The electric motor provides silent
cruising and adequate power for around 8 hours cruise speed (standard battery pack).

The decks and cabin are made from fibre glass mouldings with stiffeners for strength. The tinted toughened glass curved screens and cabin windows are set into aluminium anodised frames. The forward hatch from the cabin to the deck opens fully to provide easy access for mooring and for cabin ventilation. The cabin top is fitted with a stainless steel handrail and boarding to the aft cockpit is facilitated by steps. Deck fittings and equipment include stainless steel bridge mast (optional), navigation lights, aluminium anodised mooring bollards and all round aluminium fendering with rubber insert,

The cabin is just one step down from the cockpit through a companionway. The interior layout is neatly arranged
and the forepart given way to a convertible vee-shaped settee. The galley is a traditional blend of GRP and teak
trim, with stainless steel washbowl with cold water tap to starboard. Stowage includes a drawer and a shelf for odds
and ends. Cabin stowage is top loading lockers under the settee cushions, a half height wardrobe and an all round
oddments shelf behind the seat backs. A comfortable upholstered double berth is formed lowering the table.

The cockpit is very spacious with a “U” shaped seat for up to six persons around a portable teak fiddled
table. There is both a raised helm and passenger seat with excellent forward visibility. There are large
storage lockers under the seats, a forward map locker and a teak shelf port and starboard adjacent to the
forward facing helm and drivers seat. Large traps to the floor provide access to the electric motor,
batteries and bilges. The PVC awning stows neatly away into a concealed tray behind the aft seat.
