Disabled Access

Oxford
Our normal landing stage at Folly bridge is down 15 steps (hand-rail is provided). Wheelchairs can be picked up from the towpath upon request (this is about 30 yards from our office by Isis house and there are no steps involved)

Abingdon
Our landing stage is at The Upper Raches Hotel. Access to the mooring point is via a number of shallow steps.

Wallingford
Our landing stage at Wallingford is accessed through the gate between the swimming pool and the campsite. There is a ramp for wheelchair access down to the boat as well as disabled toilets by the entrance to the site.

Goring
Our pick up point at Goring is accessed from the towpath below the lock. There are two steps down to the mooring.

Reading
Our landing stage at Reading is on the towpath outside the Riverside restaurant. There are no steps to get to the towpath and the boat can be boarded using a ramp.

Henley
Our landing stage at Henley is in Mill meadows and it involves a single step up onto the jetty.

Marlow
Our landing stage at Marlow is in Higginson park and involves a single step up onto the jetty.

Cookham
Our landing stage at Cookham is accessed from the towpath and involves a small step onto the jetty.

Maidenhead
Our landing stage at Maidenhead is accessed from the Raymead Road below Boulters Lock. There are around 10 steps to get down to the boarding height of the boat.

Windsor
Our landing stage at Windsor is outside our office at 1 Thames Side. There are around 7 or 8 fairly steep steps onto the boat.

Runnymede
Our landing stage at Runnymede is in the pleasure grounds where the boat can be boarded from a ramp (there are no steps to the pleasure ground).

Staines
Our landing stage at Staines is accessed from the towpath in the area known as “Victoria Gardens”. To
access the landing stage there is a small step onto the jetty.
